Kardia House International exists as a biblically based religious organisation that supports families who choose to give their children a Christian education based in the Christian worldview and moral convictions that are expressed in the school’s:

The school welcomes children from families that do not hold onto these beliefs under the clear understanding that:

• Every child will be taught all aspects of the school curriculum including the beliefs outlined in the above documents.
• No family will actively seek to alter or undermine the teachings of the school.
• The school will respect all parents, including those whose beliefs are contrary to those of the school

Kardia House International was establishment with the primary aim of providing a quality Christ Centred education in support of the Christian family. The ultimate target is for the child to develop a healthy and mature value system from which positive attitudes are developed and from which life choices are made. As a school we will:

International High School Home School HESA (Higher Education South Africa) recognizes over 160 different foreign qualifications as matric equivalents but

1. Cambridge Assessment International Examinations

Cambridge qualifications give high school home school students direct entrance to universities not only in Southern Africa, but also internationally. South African high school students may take the AS Levels, from about age sixteen to nineteen years of age.

Exams are written twice a year either through the chosen college or if you are an independent student at a Cambridge examination venue. Some private schools allow independent examinees to sit and write with their students or you can write at the British Council in your town. (ssa.enquiries@britishcouncil.org.za)

Exams are written in May/June and November each year. Cambridge will charge a per subject exam fee of about R450 which you have to pay in advance. There may be other fees on top of this according to where you choose to write the exam.

2. American GED+ SAT

A GED® homeschool grade 12 equivalent* is a popular alternative to getting a matric online. It is a grade 12 equivalency* credential recognized in SA, accepted by TVET colleges and overseas and online universities. The GED is done in conjunction with the American SAT's. The SAT homeschool matric is an option to pursue, in combination with the GED®, to apply to overseas universities.

3. SAT+ transcript

Transcript Credits and SAT exams (hours spent per subject) and then writing the ACT or SAT exams.
